Bilaspur : South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) Headquarters, Bilaspur, organized a heartfelt farewell ceremony on Friday to honor three employees retiring from service. The event was held in the CMD Conference Room at the SECL Headquarters.
The program was graced by the presence of Director (Human Resources) Mr. Biranchi Das as the chief guest, along with departmental heads, representatives of labor unions, senior officers, and employees.
During the ceremony, the retiring employees were felicitated with shawls, coconuts, and floral garlands as a mark of respect and appreciation. They were also formally handed over their final settlement cheques.
The employees who retired from SECL Headquarters include:
- Mr. Umesh Kumar Gupta, Senior Manager (Mining), Underground Mines Department
- Mr. Prem Singh Kalvi, Office Superintendent (A-1), Excavation Department
- Mrs. Anita Kadve, Clerk Grade-I, Directorate of Technical (Planning & Monitoring) Secretariat
Addressing the gathering, Director (HR) Mr. Biranchi Das praised the dedication, efficiency, and commitment of the retiring employees, stating that their valuable contributions played a significant role in taking SECL to new heights of success. He extended best wishes for their bright future and a happy family life.
The retiring officers and employees expressed their gratitude to the management and said that working with SECL had been a matter of pride for them. They highlighted the strong spirit of teamwork within the organization, where officers and employees work shoulder to shoulder with full sincerity and responsibility.
The program was smoothly conducted by Deputy Manager (Official Language) Mrs. Savita Nirmalkar, who also introduced the retiring employees.
