Bilaspur, December 31, 2025:
South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) Headquarters, Bilaspur, accorded a warm and emotional farewell to four employees who retired from service on December 31, 2025. The farewell ceremony was held at the CMD Chamber of SECL Headquarters in the gracious presence of Chairman-cum-Managing Director Harish Duhan.
On this occasion, Director (Technical–Operations) N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Personnel) Biranchi Das, Director (Finance) D. Sunil Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer Himanshu Jain, Director (Planning/Projects) Ramesh Chandra Mahapatra, along with heads of various departments, representatives of labour unions, officers and employees were present.
The retiring employees were felicitated with shawls, shriphal (coconut) and flower garlands, and were presented with cheques for their terminal benefits as a mark of respect and gratitude for their dedicated service to the organization.
The employees who superannuated include Deepak Pandya, General Manager (Mining); Anil Kumar Pandey, General Manager (Industrial Engineering), Industrial Engineering Department; Pritish Ranjan Tikadar, Senior Manager (Electrical/Mechanical), Planning & Projects Department; and Karan Kumar Kanojia, Senior Duplicate Operator, Planning & Projects Department.
In their addresses, members of the top management appreciated the retiring officers and employees for their efficiency, dedication and valuable contribution in taking SECL to new heights of success. They stated that the services rendered by them would always be remembered and wished them a bright future and a happy family life.
The retiring employees expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the company and said that working in SECL had been a matter of pride for them. They highlighted the spirit of teamwork within the organization, where officers and employees work shoulder to shoulder with commitment and sincerity.
The programme was smoothly conducted by Deputy Manager (Official Language) Savita Nirmalkar, who also introduced the retiring employees.
