New Delhi : Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) bid a warm farewell to 59 employees who retired at the end of February, recognizing their long and dedicated service to the organization. The retirees included 11 officers and 48 staff members from various projects, units, and departments of the company.
Felicitation ceremonies were organized at the company’s headquarters as well as at different project sites to honor the contributions of the retiring employees to NCL’s growth and operational success.
Senior Officials Among Retirees
Among those retiring from the NCL headquarters were senior officials such as Prateek Sinha, General Manager (Mining), Umakant Yadav, General Manager (Mining/Vigilance), and Nirmal Kumar Bhowmik, Chief Medical Officer, Central Hospital, Singrauli.
Other employees recognized for their dedicated service included Ravindra Singh, Office Superintendent, CMC Department, and Bhuval Ram, Assistant Transport Supervisor, Secretariat of the Director (Finance).
Leadership Messages
Addressing the gathering, Manish Kumar, Director (Human Resources), congratulated the retirees and encouraged them to embrace the next phase of life with positivity and balance. He advised them to spend quality time with their families, pursue long-cherished aspirations, and remain connected with the NCL family.
Ashutosh Dwivedi, Director (Technical), also expressed gratitude on behalf of the company, acknowledging the retirees’ invaluable role in strengthening NCL’s operations and institutional legacy.

In his address, Prateek Sinha described NCL as a “banyan tree,” symbolizing strength, protection, and long-term support for its employees.
