Naxalism Now Taking Its Last Breath in Chhattisgarh ; A New Era of Development Has Begun — Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has said that the greatest obstacle to the development of Chhattisgarh — Naxalism — is now on the verge of complete eradication. He described the ongoing success as the result of the strong leadership of the double-engine government, the clear national security policy under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and the courage and unwavering commitment of the country’s security forces.

Calling it a historic milestone for the state, Chief Minister Sai stated that Naxalism is now in its “final phase.” He highlighted that the clear resolve of the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister is to ensure total elimination of Naxalism from the country by 31 March 2026, and that this target is now visibly taking shape on the ground.

The Chief Minister added that the end of Naxalite violence is laying the foundation for peace and stability across Chhattisgarh, especially in Bastar. Regions that had been deprived of development for decades are now witnessing rapid progress in roads, education, healthcare, communication, tourism and livelihood opportunities.

“Bastar is now on the road to transformation, and in the coming years it will witness a wave of development,” he said.

Expressing confidence in the future, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that the combined strength of the state government’s commitment, the guidance of the Central government and the courage of security forces will not only make Chhattisgarh completely free from Naxalism, but will also establish the state as one of the leading and fastest-developing regions in the country.

He asserted that the new Chhattisgarh is moving forward with the mantra of peace, prosperity, trust and development, ensuring opportunities and stability for every citizen.
