Mann Ki Baat Gives New Direction to the Nation, Strengthens Vision of a Developed India: Kiran Singh Deo


Raipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio program “Mann Ki Baat” was broadcast across the country on Sunday, drawing enthusiastic participation in Chhattisgarh’s capital, Raipur. The program was specially organized by the BJP Kisan Morcha at the auditorium of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, where senior BJP leaders and local citizens gathered to listen to the Prime Minister’s address.

The event was attended by BJP Chhattisgarh President Kiran Singh Deo, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, and several party leaders. After the broadcast, Kiran Singh Deo shared his views on the Prime Minister’s vision, highlighting rural development, technological advancement, and grassroots governance.

‘Mann Ki Baat Is More Than a Program’

Praising Prime Minister Modi’s address, Kiran Singh Deo said that “Mann Ki Baat is not merely a radio program, but a powerful medium that provides a new direction to the nation.” He emphasized that the Prime Minister’s focus on cleanliness, water conservation, revival of ponds, and the use of modern technology serves as a strong source of inspiration for citizens.

He further stated that the Prime Minister’s core objective is to generate employment opportunities in rural areas and make villages self-reliant. According to him, both central and state government schemes aim to ensure that development planning begins at the village level itself.

Panchayats at the Core of ‘Developed India’ Vision

Highlighting the role of grassroots institutions, Kiran Singh Deo said that development initiatives at the panchayat level are accelerating progress under the vision of “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India). He expressed confidence that the integration of rural expansion with modern resources is transforming villages across Chhattisgarh.

“The changing landscape of villages reflects the success of people-centric governance and participatory development,” he added.

The program concluded with discussions on strengthening rural infrastructure, empowering farmers, and ensuring sustainable development through community participation.
