Raipur, India: Young aspirants from the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh have made the state proud by securing success in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2025, one of the toughest competitive exams in the country. The final results were announced on Friday, with a total of 958 candidates clearing the examination.
Anuj Agnihotri topped the Civil Services Exam 2025, while Rajeshwari Suve M secured the second rank and Akanksha Dhul finished third in the national merit list.
Several candidates from Chhattisgarh also earned places in the merit list. Raipur’s Raunak Agrawal secured the 772nd rank, while Sanjay Dahariya achieved the 946th position. Darshana Singh, the daughter of a BJP councilor from the Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur (MCB) district, secured an impressive 283rd rank. Another successful candidate, Diamond Singh Dhruv from Dhamtari district, earned the 623rd rank.
Their achievements have been widely celebrated across the state, with many praising their hard work and dedication. Their success is being seen as an inspiration for aspiring civil service candidates from the region.
Chhattisgarh BJP state president Kiran Singh Deo congratulated the successful candidates, saying that students from the state are consistently performing well in the UPSC exam. He added that clearing one of India’s toughest examinations requires hard work, focus, determination, and disciplined study. He wished the selected candidates a bright future in public service.
The achievements of these young candidates highlight the growing presence of Chhattisgarh’s youth in India’s top administrative services.
