RailTel Secures $3.6 Million Education Project in Jharkhand to Boost English Learning Infrastructure


New Delhi  — RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has announced that it has secured a significant government contract worth ₹29.69 crore (approximately $3.6 million) from the Jharkhand Education Project Council. The development was disclosed to stock exchanges in accordance with SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations 2015.

Project Scope and Objectives

Under the terms of the agreement, RailTel will play a key role in enhancing English language education across the state of Jharkhand. The project includes:

  • Delivering structured English language training programs
  • Establishing modern English language laboratories in educational institutions

This initiative is expected to strengthen students’ communication skills and improve their readiness for higher education and employment opportunities in an increasingly globalized economy.
